X-Vision Eye Clinic in Lund opened on 5 February 2026. Here you are examined and operated on for cataract and given clearer vision. We offer both standard surgery and premium lenses through co-payment (medfinansiering). All surgery is performed by our experienced eye surgeon Dr. Khash Memarzadeh. The operating theatre is equipped with Leica Microsystems surgical microscopes and hospital-grade HEPA air filtration. Our clinical staff have many years of experience in cataract surgery. We also have an eye clinic in Malmö offering a wider range of treatments, including laser vision correction and implantable lenses (ICL).
We treat 13-14 eyes per day.

Our modern eye clinic is at Stora Södergatan 57A, 222 23 Lund.
The central location makes it easy to reach us by bus, by bike or on foot. There is also parking nearby if you prefer to drive.
Pre-operative examination
We carry out pre-operative examinations for cataract surgery and advanced lens replacement.
A thorough examination is essential to map your eye health, your refractive error and your needs. Our experience and our advanced equipment make that possible.
Co-payment (medfinansiering)
Co-payment, known in Sweden as medfinansiering, is available at our clinic.
Region Skåne covers the cost of the standard lens in the cataract operation, and you pay the difference for a more advanced lens (multifocal or trifocal). The arrangement applies to patients covered by Swedish public healthcare in Region Skåne.
The operation gives you sharper vision at all distances and so reduces your need for glasses.
We offer a SEK 10,000 discount when you upgrade to advanced lenses.
