About X-Vision Eye Center Hellerup
X-Vision Eye Center in Hellerup is our examination clinic in the Copenhagen area. Here we assess your eyes ahead of laser vision correction and lens replacement, and the examination is free. The clinic is at Strandvejen 88, in the same building as the opticians Bak Optics. We carry out advanced measurements with OCT, topographer and biometer, as well as standard measurements with autorefractor and phoropter. The surgery itself is performed at our clinic in Malmö, where we offer SMILE Pro, FS-LASIK, LASEK, Trans-PRK (No Touch), ICL and RLE (lens replacement), as well as cataract surgery.
We treat 13-14 eyes per day.

Dr. Memarzadeh has experience in refractive surgery, cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery, corneal transplantation, conjunctival cancer and oculoplastic surgery, and performs more than 3,000 eye operations a year.
His areas of expertise

He has worked as a consultant at Skåne University Hospital in Lund and at Linköping University Hospital. He defended his doctoral thesis on oculoplastic surgery at Lund University on 30 November 2018.
In August 2023 he opened his own clinic, X-Vision Ögonklinik, at Malmö Arena as a center of excellence for refractive surgery in southern Sweden and the Copenhagen area. Dr. Memarzadeh also holds training in general surgery, orthopaedics, emergency medicine and cardiac surgery.
Between 1997 and 2001 he completed Basic Surgical Training in the United Kingdom and obtained the Member of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons of Glasgow and Edinburgh (MRCS) diploma.
