WaveLight EX500
The WaveLight EX500 excimer laser is FDA-approved in the USA and is considered the fastest excimer laser with a speed of 500 Hz. Other notable features include its high-precision eye tracking system, iris recognition, and the ability to interface with the Vario Topolyzer for performing Contoura LASIK. These features significantly reduce fixation fatigue, minimize corneal dehydration, and enable perfect centering during laser ablation. Combined with the VisuMax femtosecond laser, the WaveLight EX500 offers the best in Bladeless LASIK.

WaveLight Vario Topolyzer
The WaveLight Vario Topolyzer is an advanced device for corneal mapping, used to perform Topography-Guided Custom Ablation Treatment (T-CAT) or Contoura LASIK. By collecting data from 22,000 points on the cornea, the Vario Topolyzer generates an ultra-high-resolution image of the cornea and detects subtle irregularities known as higher-order aberrations. This valuable information is seamlessly integrated with the WaveLight EX500 excimer laser to perform a perfectly customized LASIK procedure.
Säkerhet och erfarenhet
Crosslinking är idag en etablerad och internationellt använd behandling med god dokumentation och hög säkerhet när den utförs efter noggrann undersökning och bedömning av hornhinnan. Crosslinking utförs av Dr. Khashayar Memarzadeh som har ansvarat för hornhinneavdelningen på Skånes Universitetssjukhus.
