Dr. Khash Memarzadeh
Dr. Memarzadeh has experience in refractive surgery, cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery, corneal transplantation, conjunctival cancer and oculoplastic surgery, and performs more than 3,000 eye operations a year.
His areas of expertise
– Laser and lens treatments for vision correction (SMILE Pro, FS-LASIK, Trans-PRK, LASEK, PTK, RLE lens replacement and ICL)
– Cataract surgery
– Complex corrections in glaucoma and corneal transplantation
– Surgery for conjunctival cancer and eyelid surgery
He has worked as a consultant at Skåne University Hospital in Lund and at Linköping University Hospital. He defended his doctoral thesis on oculoplastic surgery at Lund University on 30 November 2018.
In August 2023 he opened his own clinic, X-Vision Ögonklinik, at Malmö Arena as a center of excellence for refractive surgery in southern Sweden and the Copenhagen area. Dr. Memarzadeh also holds training in general surgery, orthopaedics, emergency medicine and cardiac surgery.
Between 1997 and 2001 he completed Basic Surgical Training in the United Kingdom and obtained the Member of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons of Glasgow and Edinburgh (MRCS) diploma.
